The NFL season is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are NFL week 13 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions (-2.5)
After having a scare against the Giants last week, the Lions can refocus this week on a short week at home. The Packers haven’t played up to their potential in a lot of games this season and might fall short on a limited rest road trip.
Pick: Lions
Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Dallas Cowboys
The Chiefs are in a desperate spot to make the playoffs and have to go on the road for the short week. Dallas has an improved defense after the trade deadline and the offense has multiple weapons to keep this close, if not win outright.
Pick: Cowboys
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)
Joe Burrow returning is probably too little too late for the Bengals, who have a terrible defense. Baltimore should be able to win and cover at home, even with some of their players banged up.

Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5)
While the Eagles allowed a big comeback to the Cowboys, their offense did look better in the first half. They should be able to have success against a Bears’ defense that has struggled this season.

Arizona Cardinals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5)
Arizona has to travel and play an early kick for the holiday weekend. Baker Mayfield injured his non-throwing shoulder, so he might be able to play in this game. Even if he can’t, Teddy Bridgewater can help lead the team to a win.

Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) at New York Jets
Kirk Cousins was able to lead the Falcons to a win over the Saints. Getting him back playing and comfortable will make him better and the Jets defense won’t be too tough for him to crack.

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (-4.5)
The Colts are coming off a big win. Their defense and running game can help them win a lot of games, although getting too many blowouts likely won’t happen. CJ Stroud should be coming back for the Texans and their defense should keep the game close.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-6.5) at Tennessee Titans
Of the Titans’ 10 losses, eight are by more than six points. While they have been playing better lately, the Jaguars will want to be focused to get the win and possibly make the playoffs.

Los Angeles Rams (-10) at Carolina Panthers
Carolina is coming off a short week after playing on Monday Night Football. The Rams are the best team in the league and should be able to impose their will on the Panthers.

New Orleans Saints at Miami Dolphins (-5.5)
The Saints are starting to see the wheels come off with bad play and injuries. Miami should be able to run the ball and be efficient on offense and Tyler Shough will not be able to keep up.
Pick: Dolphins
San Francisco 49ers (-5.5) at Cleveland Browns
The 49ers are banged up, but they keep winning games they should win. They should go on the road and cover against the Browns. Cleveland saw a good first start for Shedeur Sanders, but he may struggle against Robert Saleh’s defense.
Pick: 49ers
Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-10.5)
The Seahawks should be able to win this game as Sam Darnold plays his former team. Minnesota isn’t getting good quarterback play, but Brian Flores’s defense can keep it within single digits.
Pick: Vikings
Buffalo Bills (-3.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers
Buffalo isn’t playing their best football, but they played last Thursday, giving them extra time to prepare. Josh Allen should have a good day against a Steelers’ defense that has not played up to their potential this season.
Pick: Bills
Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers (-9.5)
The Raiders are a mess. Maybe firing Chip Kelly as offensive coordinator will help, but from everything that they have shown so far, the Chargers should win by double-digits.

Denver Broncos (-6.5) at Washington Commanders
Without Jayden Daniels the offense isn’t great and the defense has plenty of issues for the Commanders. Denver’s defense will travel and help them cover.
Pick: Broncos
New York Giants at New England Patriots (-7.5)
Jameis Winston had a great game against the Lions, but it will be hard for him to keep that up. Drake Maye didn’t have his best game against the Bengals and is in a good spot to rebound this week.
Pick: Patriots
