NFL Week 13 Picks Against the Spread

Publish Date: November 28, 2023

NFL Week 13 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 13 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)

Last Week: 10-6

Season: 108-68-5

Thursday Night Football

Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys (-9)

The Cowboys are on a roll right now. They have enough in them to win the game, but the Seahawks are a tough team who are capable of keeping things within a touchdown.

Pick: Seahawks

Sunday Afternoon

Los Angeles Chargers (-6) at New England Patriots

New England has been benching Mac Jones. They don’t have any answers on offense, which keeps their defense on the field too long. The Chargers are desperate for a win to get back in the playoff mix and they should be focused enough to win and cover.

Pick: Chargers

Indianapolis Colts (-2) at Tennessee Titans

Both teams have different starting quarterbacks from the start of the season and are built on establishing the run. The game is a coin flip, so taking the Titans with the points at home is the smarter choice.

Pick: Titans

Miami Dolphins (-9) at Washington Commanders

Miami has extra time to heal up for this game after playing on black Friday. Their defense is coming along and their defense is still high-powered. They can cover against the Commanders, who have lost three straight.

Pick: Dolphins

Detroit Lions (-4) at New Orleans Saints

The Saints have lost six of their last nine games and have struggled to get the offense going. Detroit can protect Jared Goff and then win and cover on the road.

Pick: Lions

Arizona Cardinals at Pittsburgh Steelers (-5.5)

Pittsburgh finally eclipsed the 400-yard mark in a game against the Bengals after a change of offensive coordinators. The defense can limit the Cardinals and if the offense can take another step forward, they can win and cover.

Pick: Steelers

Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) at New York Jets

The Jets are a mess right now and can generate any offense. Atlanta is in first place in the NFC South and will be motivated to notch this win and make sure things stay that way.

Pick: Falcons

Denver Broncos at Houston Texans (-3.5)

Denver has won five straight games. It will be tough to go on the road and beat the Texans, but they should be able to keep the game within a field goal at the very least.

Pick: Broncos

Sunday Evening

Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-5.5)

Carolina fired Frank Reich, but they also rid themselves of a lot of assistants. It will be hard to get the gameplan ready and organized. Tampa Bay can win and cover at home.

Pick: Buccaneers

San Francisco 49ers (-2.5) at Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia is winning games. They just don’t look great. San Francisco looks geat after their bye and had extra time to prep for this game. They’ll also want revenge for losing to the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.

Pick: 49ers

Cleveland Browns at Los Angeles Rams (-4)

Cleveland has not looked great with Dorian Thompson-Robinson and now he is injured. If he can’t play, P.J. Walker or Joe Flacco will step in. The Browns’ offense will not have enough firepower to keep up with the Rams.

Pick: Rams

Sunday Night Football

Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) at Green Bay Packers

While Green Bay has been playing better, the Chiefs seemed to get things back on track against the Raiders after a slow start. The Chiefs can win and cover on the road.

Pick: Chiefs

Monday Night Football

Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars (-8.5)

The Bengals are lost without Joe Burrow. They can’t run the ball and the defense is on the field too long. Jacksonville can take advantage and win by at least two scores.

Pick: Jaguars
