NFL Week 11 Picks Against the Spread

Publish Date: November 16, 2021

NFL Week 11 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 11 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from tallysight as of Tuesday morning)

Last week: 4-10, Season total: 68-81-1

NFL week 11 picks against the spread

Thursday Night Football

New England Patriots (-6.5) at Atlanta Falcons

The Patriots are starting to hit their stride with Mac Jones at quarterback. They are running the ball well and their defense is playing well. Atlanta will likely be without Cordarrelle Patterson, who has been a matchup problem.

Pick: Patriots

Sunday Afternoon

Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills (-7)

Jonathan Taylor is running the ball extremely well for the Colts. Unfortunately, Carson Wentz won’t be able to keep up with the Bills and Josh Allen, but Indianapolis can keep it close.

Pick: Colts

Washington Football Team at Carolina Panthers (-3)

Cam Newton is going up against his former coach. The energy that Newton has brought the Panthers is immeasurable. Carolina’s defense is also great, which poses a problem for Washington.

Pick: Panthers

Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears (+3.5) *Updated after Lamar Jackson sickness

Baltimore, like the rest of the NFL, has had an up and down season. Without Lamar Jackson, the Bears should be able to keep it close, especially with the Ravens not playing the most consistently on defense this year.

Pick: Bears

Detroit Lions at Cleveland Browns (-10)

It was a rough game for the Browns against the Patriots. They have players questioning the gameplan and everything seems to be in disarray. While the Browns should bounce back with a win against the Lions, Detroit is playing teams tough, for the most part, this year.

Pick: Lions

San Francisco 49ers (-6.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars

Did the 49ers find their groove against the Rams on Monday Night? They seemed like it. With all of their weapons healthy (George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk and Elijah Mitchell), the 49ers should still be able to win and cover over Jacksonville on the short week.

Pick: 49ers

Green Bay Packers (-2.5) at Minnesota Vikings

The Packers may be without Aaron Jones, but A.J. Dillon stepped up in his absence. Green Bay’s defense is also one of the best in the league. Minnesota may keep it close for three quarters, but the Packers should be able to pull away.

Pick: Packers

Miami Dolphins (-3)  at New York Jets

Miami is on a two-game winning streak and has extra time to prepare for this game. The Jets still have questions at quarterback after Mike White threw four interceptions against the Bills.

Pick: Dolphins

New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5)

The Eagles got a big win over Denver on the road, but the Saints present a different test. Sean Payton will have his offense better, whether that’s with Taysom Hill or Trevor Siemian, and the defense is regularly ready to play.

Pick: Saints

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans (-10)

Tennessee has played well despite losing Derrick Henry to injury. They will outclass the Texans and win by a wide margin.

Pick: Titans

Sunday Evening

Cincinnati Bengals (-1) at Las Vegas Raiders

The wheels seem to be coming off for Las Vegas. Cincinnati is coming off a bye and if they are for real, they’ll win on the road.

Pick: Bengals

Dallas Cowboys at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5)

Kansas City blew out the Raiders, but it was close through three quarters. The win had more to do with the Raiders falling apart than the Chiefs figuring everything out. Dallas will be able to outscore them in this game.

Pick: Cowboys

Arizona Cardinals (-2.5) at Seattle Seahawks

Kyler Murray should be back for this game and the Cardinals will thrive. Having Russell Wilson back did not help the Seahawks’ offense.

Pick: Cardinals

Sunday Night Football

Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Chargers (-4.5)

Los Angeles will have their hands full with Najee Harris, but if they stack the box and make the Pittsburgh passing game beat them, they should be able to come out on top.

Pick: Chargers

Monday Night Football

New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-10.5)

Tampa Bay had a bad game against Washington, but with an extra day to prepare this week against the Giants, they should win big.

Pick: Buccaneers
