NFL Week 11 Picks Against the Spread

Publish Date: November 18, 2020

NFL week 11 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 11 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from tallysight.com as of Wednesday morning)

Last week: 7-7, Overall: 76-70-1

Thursday Night

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks (-3)

This week NFL fans get another great matchup for Thursday Night Football. Two MVP candidates will be going at it, but the Cardinals are actually the more balanced team. This includes offense/defense and rushing/passing. The Seahawks may win, but the Cardinals will keep it close.

Pick: Cardinals

Sunday Afternoon

New England Patriots (-2) at Houston Texans

The Patriots got back in the win column against the Ravens. At 4-5 they can sniff playoff contention, while the Texans don’t have much to play for. Bill Belichick will make things interesting down the stretch.

Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)

Lamar Jackson needs to get back on track and playing a Titans’ defense that has underperformed is just what he needs. Jackson will lead the Ravens to a big win.

Pick: Ravens

Philadelphia Eagles at Cleveland Browns (-3.5)

Philadelphia just lost to the Giants by 10. If the Browns want to make the playoffs and prove themselves they need to win this game by a big margin.

Pick: Browns

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (-5)

Jameis Winston will be starting at quarterback for the Saints. That is a large spread for a Saints’ team who hasn’t played their best football yet this year, especially since they will be without Drew Brees.

Pick: Falcons

Cincinnati Bengals at Washington Football Team (-1.5)

The Bengals went up against a tough Steelers team and got humbled. They have injuries on the offensive line and in the secondary. Washington’s defense will help them win this one.

Pick: Washington

Pittsburgh Steelers (-10) at Jacksonville Jaguars

While the Jaguars put up a good fight against the Packers, the Steelers’ defense won’t let them get much going in this one. Pittsburgh will win and cover.

Pick: Steelers

Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers (-1.5)

The Panthers may not be able to have Teddy Bridgewater go in this one so the Lions are the pick.

Pick: Lions

Sunday Evening

Miami Dolphins (-3) at Denver Broncos

The Broncos were just destroyed by the Raiders. They are still banged up and Drew Lock may not play in this one. Miami has great special teams and their defense has been playing well enough for them to make a playoff push.

Pick: Dolphins

New York Jets at Los Angeles Chargers (-8.5)

If this were any other team, the Chargers shouldn’t be favored by 8.5. The Jets have terrible leadership and they have nothing to play for. Justin Herbert will have a big day.

Green Bay Packers at Indianapolis Colts (-2.5)

The Colts will win and cover because the Packers can’t stop the run. Indy’s defense will be able to slow Aaron Rodgers down just enough to get a huge win.

Pick: Colts

Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings (-7.5)

Getting Andy Dalton back helps, but the Cowboys’ issues go deeper than the quarterback position. The Vikings will take advantage of the Cowboys’ bad defense and offensive line to cover.

Pick: Vikings

Sunday Night

Kansas City Chiefs (-7) at Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders beat the Chiefs earlier in the season, but it is unlikely that it will happen again. Expecting the Raiders to slow down the Chiefs’ offense again is a big ask. Kansas City should win this by a few scores.

Pick: Chiefs

Monday Night

Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Buccaneers (-3.5)

Both these teams are tough to figure out. The Bucs look lights out some weeks and helpless on others. Because they are at home, the Bucs will likely win, but taking the points is the right call with two teams like this.

Pick: Rams
