NFL Week 10 Picks Against the Spread

Publish Date: November 8, 2022

NFL Week 10 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 10 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)

Last week: 4-7-2, Season: 62-69-5

Thursday Night Football

Atlanta Falcons (-3) at Carolina Panthers

These teams matched up a few weeks ago and had a barn-burner. The Falcons have had players get healthier, like Cordarelle Patterson, while the Panthers have a new quarterback controversy. The Falcons should win and cover on the road.

Pick: Falcons

Sunday Morning

Seattle Seahawks at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5) (Game in Munich, Germany)

Flights to Germany are around the same amount of time from each city. The Seahawks are playing much better football this season, but the Buccaneers did defeat the Rams to get things back on track. With how things have gone, the smart thing is to take the Seahawks and the points.

Pick: Seahawks

Sunday Afternoon

Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills (-6)

The most frustrating thing about this game is that Josh Allen’s status won’t be known after injuring his elbow. Until that point, the smart play is to pick the Vikings with the points.

Pick: Vikings

Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5)

While the Jaguars aren’t as bad as most years, the Chiefs should win and cover. Patrick Mahomes looks good even without Tyreek Hill this season.

Pick: Chiefs

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears (-2.5)

Chicago has finally started using Justin Fields correctly and it is paying off for the offense. The Lions got a big win against the Packers, but the Bears can take advantage of their bad defense.

Pick: Bears

Cleveland Browns at Miami Dolphins (-4)

Tua Tagovailoa would be in MVP discussions had he not been injured. He is playing at an elite level and should help the Dolphins win and cover over the one-dimensional offense the Browns have.

Pick: Dolphins

Denver Broncos at Tennessee Titans (-3)

After Tennessee played Kansas City’s offense well, they can do wonders against Denver. Derrick Henry will carry them to victory.

Pick: Titans

New Orleans Saints (-2.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers can’t get the running game going, which is limiting what Kenny Pickett can do. While the Saints have their fair share of offensive issues, they are more likely to figure it out this week.

Pick: Saints

Houston Texans at New York Giants (-6.5)

The Texans are losing some steam, while the Giants are coming off a bye and should be refreshed. Being at home, they should win and cover.

Pick: Giants

Sunday Evening

Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders (-6.5)

Can the Colts get the boost after firing their head coach? Maybe. But their new head coach has no legitimate experience. The only saving grace is that the Raiders are blowing leads at an alarming rate. The Colts should keep it close.

Pick: Colts

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams (-3)

Both of these teams are playing below expectations. The Rams are at home and seem to have fewer locker room issues than the Cardinals. They should be the pick, but there isn’t much faith in either side.

Pick: Rams

Dallas Cowboys (-5) at Green Bay Packers

Green Bay is struggling mightily and to make matters worse, they are very injured. Dallas is coming off a bye and should win easily, but there are some bad memories of playing in Green Bay.

Pick: Cowboys

Sunday Night Football

Los Angeles Chargers at San Francisco 49ers (-7.5)

The Chargers are coming off a big win on the road against the Falcons. San Francisco had a bye. Even so, the 49ers don’t often blow teams out, so the Chargers will keep it close.

Pick: Chargers

Monday Night Football

Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles (-11)

Washington has played better over the last few weeks with Taylor Heinicke at quarterback. They may not win this game, but might be able to keep it within 11 points.

Pick: Commanders
