NFL Draft Prospects in the 2020 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. The bowl season schedule allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2020 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

Nevada Wolf Pack Draft Prospects

Jake Nelson, OT

Nelson started his career at a community college and then redshirted at Nevada in 2016. Since that point, he has been a mainstay on Nevada’s offensive line. He has plenty of experience and was named to the preseason All-MWC team.

He won’t be the biggest offensive lineman at 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds, but is big enough. Nelson may not be drafted, but should get a shot to make a roster.

Projected Draft Range: Sixth round-undrafted free agent

Other notable draft-eligible players: RB Kelton Moore, WR Kaleb Fossum

Nathan Rourke, QB

Rourke has been a star for Ohio for the last three seasons. He has 7,313 passing yards, 60 touchdowns and 20 interceptions on 58.8 percent completion. This season, Rourke has 2,676 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions on 61.4 percent completion.

At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, Rourke is a little undersized for a pro quarterback. Rourke will likely go undrafted, but could make an NFL team.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted free agent

Javon Hagan, S

Hagan redshirted in 2015, but has since been an impact player for Ohio. He has 313 total tackles, six interceptions and 26 passes defended in his career. This season, Hagan had 99 total tackles and five passes defended.

At 6-foot and 215 pounds, Hagan has solid size for an NFL safety. He too will likely go undrafted, but will be in an NFL training camp.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted free agent

Other notable draft-eligible players: OT Austin Pleasants
