The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. The bowl season schedule allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2020 Birmingham Bowl.

Cincinnati Bearcats Draft Prospects

Michael Warren, RB

Over the last two seasons, Michael Warren has been a key player for the Bearcats. He has 2,813 yards and 34 touchdowns in his career. This season, Warren has 1,160 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. Warren has added 449 receiving yards in his time as a bearcat as well.

He has a good build for an NFL running back at 5-foot-11 and 222 pounds. Warren could be selected near the middle or end of the 2020 NFL Draft

Projected Draft Range: Fourth round-sixth round

Josiah Deguara, TE

After redshirting in 2015, Deguara has developed into a solid tight end prospect. He has 89 receptions for 1,105 yards and 12 touchdowns in his career. This season, Deguara has 36 receptions for 492 yards and seven touchdowns.

He is undersized for a tight end at 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds. Deguara will be selected in the late rounds at the earliest because of his size limitations.

Projected Draft Range: Fifth round-seventh round

Other notable draft-eligible players: QB Desmond Ridder, LB Bryan Wright, LB Perry Young, CB Cameron Jeffries, S James Wiggins

Richardson has improved every year he has been at Boston College. For his career, he has 216 total tackles, 24 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. This season, Richardson has 107 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.

At 6-foot and 230 pounds, Richardson won’t be the biggest linebacker, but will be fine. He could be selected near the end of the draft.

Projected Draft Grade: Sixth round-undrafted free agent

Hunter Long, TE

Long is just a redshirt sophomore, but has the skills to be an NFL tight end. He has 30 receptions for 567 yards and four touchdowns in his career. This season, Long has 26 receptions for 464 yards and two touchdowns.

He is 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, which is good size for an NFL tight end. Long should probably return to school, but if he doesn’ he could be selected in the late rounds.

Projected Draft Range: Seventh round-undrafted free agent.
