NFL Draft Prospects in the 2019 Capital One Orange Bowl

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. The bowl season schedule allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2019 Capital One Orange Bowl.

Florida Gators Draft Prospects

Jabari Zuniga, Edge

Zuniga has only played in four games this season, but is expected to be back for the Orange Bowl. In the four games this season that Zuniga played, he played well with 11 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. For his career, he has 115 total tackles, 33 tackles for loss and 18.5 sacks.

He has decent size for an edge rusher at 6-foot-4 and 246 pounds. Zuniga is a candidate to be selected in the middle rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Projected Draft Range: Third round-fifth round

Jonathan Greenard, Edge

Greenard started his college career at Louisville, but transferred to Florida for 2019. In his college career, he has 122 total tackles, 37.5 tackles for loss and 18.5 sacks. This season, Greenard has 52 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss and nine sacks.

At 6-foot-4 and 263 pounds, Greenard is also a decent size for an edge rusher. Greenard is also a candidate to be selected in the middle rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Projected Draft Range: Third round-fifth round

*CB C.J. Henderson will not play in this game as he prepares for the NFL Draft. He is a projected first-round pick

Bryce Perkins, QB

One of the biggest factors in Virginia’s program turnaround is quarterback Bryce Perkins. In his career, he has thrown for 5,895 yards, 43 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on 64.2 percent completion. For the 2019 season, Perkins has 3,215 passing yards, 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on 64 percent completion. Perkins has also demonstrated dual-threat abilities, with 1,668 career rushing yards.

He has decent size for an NFL quarterback at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds. His abilities to run and throw make him an intriguing prospect for the NFL Draft. Perkins has a chance to be selected near the end of the draft.

Projected Draft Range: Sixth round-undrafted free agent

Hasise Dubois, WR

Dubois has been a solid receiver for Virginia for four seasons. At Virginia, he has 141 receptions for 1,776 yards and 10 touchdowns. This year, Dubois has 65 receptions for 979 yards and four touchdowns.

At 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, Dubois will be a big target in the NFL. Dubois is in the mix to be selected in the late rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Projected Draft Range: Sixth round-undrafted free agent

*CB Bryce Hall is out for this game with a knee injury, but is a projected first or second-round pick.
