NFL Divisional Round Picks Against the Spread

Publish Date: January 18, 2022

NFL Divisional Round is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL Divisional Round Picks Against the Spread. (Spreads are from ESPN as of Tuesday morning)

Last week: 4-2 , Season total: 129-132-1

Saturday

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans (-3.5)

The Bengals just won their first playoff game in 31 years behind the arm of Joe Burrow and the receiving ability of Ja’Marr Chase. Those two have been on fire and should be able to carry that success over to the next round. Their main focus needs to be stopping the run and with Derrick Henry not 100 percent healthy and rusty coming into that game, that might be easier than usual. If the Bengals can make it a game where it’s a shootout between Burrow and Ryan Tannehill, they can pull off the upset in Nashville.

Pick: Bengals

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers (-5.5)

The Packers won 13 games this season and they have been without a lot of key players for the stretch run of the season. They get several of their players back for this game and should be able to take their game to another level. In beating the Cowboys, the 49ers proved that they were tough, but at the same time, Jimmy Garropolo showed some of his limitations. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers should be able to win and cover.

Pick: Packers

Sunday

Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3)

Matthew Stafford won his first playoff game. The newly acquired stars stepped up for the Rams against the Cardinals and they delivered a dominating performance. The Buccaneers played well in their playoff game as well, as they benefitted from Lavonte David’s return. It should be a close matchup between these two teams. The Rams should be able to go on the road and win because of their pass rush. They can rush the passer with four, which is the key to beating Tom Brady.

Pick: Rams

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5)

Both of these teams won their first playoff matchups in a dominant fashion. Buffalo reached a level of offensive efficiency against the Patriots that is almost impossible to match. Their offense is rolling, which should make this a shootout. Ultimately, Josh Allen should be able to help the Bills pull off the upset.

Pick: Bills
