The NFL season is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are NFL Conference Championship picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Monday morning)
Last Week: 2-2
Season: 139-141-2
New England Patriots (-5.5) at Denver Broncos
The Patriots are on a roll with their offense and defense playing well. Starting quarterback Bo Nix is out for the Broncos, which complicates things. Jarrett Stidham can run the offense, but Drake Maye will play well enough against the defense to get the win on the road. Denver is at home and their defense is talented, so it should be a close margin.
Pick: Broncos
Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks (-2.5)
The Rams went on the road and won an overtime game against the Bears. They run the ball well and Matthew Stafford is able to carve up defenses, giving them good balance. Their defensive line is also very talented and should be able to get pressure. These two teams split the season series. If the Rams force Sam Darnold into turnovers, they can win the game on the road.
Pick: Rams
