The NFL has approved a rule to flex games to Thursday Night Football for weeks 13 through 17 according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
In order to flex games into Thursday Night Football the league would have to give the teams 28 notice. The passing of this rule means that all prime-time games, including Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football, can be flexed at some point of the season.
