Jones is a rookie out of Duke, who the Giants selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. While the pick received some criticism, the Giants thought he could be the future of the team.
He will take over for Eli Manning, who has been unable to lead the Giants to a win in their first two games of the season. The veteran has led the team to two Super Bowl victories. He also ranks seventh on the all-time list for passing yards in NFL history.
