The New York Giants have hired a new head coach. Former Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll was the Giants’ choice for the vacant head coaching spot. This hire comes after New York fired Joe Judge at the conclusion of Week 18 after just two years on the job.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Friday evening.
Sources: The #Giants are working to hire #Bills OC Brian Daboll as their new head coach. The two sides will attempt to do a deal and reunite him with old friend and new NYG GM Joe Schoen.

Daboll has held a multitude of jobs within the football sphere. His college credits include William and Mary, Michigan State and offensive coordinator/quarterback coach at Alabama, meaning he coached in the College Football Playoffs.
Due to him spending 11 years in different positions with the New England Patriots, Daboll has five Super Bowl rings to his name. He has also spent time with the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and, of course, the Bills. Under his guidance, Josh Allen has taken huge leaps and become a perennial MVP candidate.
