
The New York Giants have decided to fire Pat Shurmur after two seasons with the team. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported the news.
Shurmur went 9-23 in his two seasons with the team. The Giants went 4-12 this season after going 5-11 last season.
He is 19-46 as a head coach in his career, with time spent with the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and Giants.
The Giants have announced they are keeping General Manager Dave Gettleman.
