The New York Giants are firing head coach Brian Daboll, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Daboll had a 20-40-1 record as the head coach in parts of four seasons. He was 2-8 this season and was fired on Monday after blowing a lead to the Chicago Bears. He made the playoffs in his first season at the helm with a 9-7 record, but has not had a winning record since.
Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka is going to be the interim coach for the Giants, according to Rapoport. He is the sixth head coach for the team since 2016.
