The New England Patriots have completed a trade with the Miami Dolphins to acquire wide receiver Isaiah Ford. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report the news.
Ford, 24, was a seventh-round pick by the Dolphins in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has 41 receptions for 428 yards in his career. A touchdown has eluded him so far in his three years in Miami.
The Patriots have been thin at wide receiver this season after being hit by injuries. Ford will immediately help the New England passing game, which has struggled this season.
No details have been released about what the Patriots are giving up in exchange for Ford.
