

The New England Patriots have reached a deal with free-agent linebacker Robert Spillane according to Ian Rapoport.
The details of the contract are not public yet. Spillane, 29, has played for the Titans, Steelers and Raiders in his seven-year career. He has 495 tackles and 8.5 sacks in his career. Last season for the Raiders, he totaled 158 tackles and two sacks.
In New England, Spillane rejoins Mike Vrabel, who he played under in Tennessee. He will be joining Ja’Whaun Bentley at linebacker for the Patriots.
