Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams has been downgraded from questionable to out for the Wild Card Round. The team announced the news on Friday.
Williams suffered a back injury in week 18 against the Denver Broncos. The decision to play Williams in the game was highly-questioned, as the Chargers knew they were the fifth-seeded team in the AFC prior to the game kicking off.
This season, Williams has only been able to play in 13 games due to injury. The Chargers were only able to win two games without Williams in the lineup in five chances.
In the Wild Card Round, the Chargers will play the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars defeated the Chargers early in the season on the road 38-10.
