Free agent wide receiver Mike Evans will sign a three-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers, according to Adam Schefter.
Evans, 32, is a six-time Pro Bowler and one-time Super Bowl champion. He has spent all 12 of his NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has 866 catches for 13,052 yards and 108 touchdowns during his career. Last season, he was only able to play in eight games due to injury, but caught 30 passes for 368 yards and three touchdowns.
The 49ers have had injury issues and players hitting free agency from their wide receiver room over recent years. Evans now leads a group of receivers that includes Ricky Pearsall and Demarcus Robinson.
