The Miami Dolphins have released Tyreek Hill and Bradley Chubb, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Hill, 32, played in just four games last season before tearing his ACL. He is still recovering. The eight-time Pro Bowler spent four seasons in Miami after starting his career in Kansas City. In his career, he has 819 catches for 11,363 yards and 83 touchdowns.
Chubb is a 29-year-old defender who returned from a torn ACL in 2025. He registered 8.5 sacks last season, bringing his career total up to 48.
Miami has a new head coach in Jeff Haffley and are going through a rebuilding process. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is on the trade block and with these veterans being released, they are turning the page on the Mike McDaniel era. More veterans could be released this offseason.
Both Hill and Chubb are unrestricted free agents who are now free to sign with any team before free agency officially opens because they were released.
