The Miami Dolphins have agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal with free agent quarterback Mike White according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
White, 27, has started in seven games and played in eight over the last two seasons for the New York Jets. He has passed for 2,145 yards, eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions on 62.2 percent completion.
The Dolphins are shoring up the quarterback position after both starter Tua Tagovailoa and backup Teddy Bridgewater missed their playoff game last season against the Bills.
