The Detroit Lions have agreed to send
Matthew Stafford
to the Los Angeles Rams for
Jared Goff, two first round picks and a third round pick according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Stafford and the Lions agreed to part ways already this offseason, as the Lions are under a new regime. The Rams, on the other hand, were reportedly going to make Goff compete for his job this offseason. Both players are former first overall picks in the NFL Draft.
In his career, Stafford has made one Pro Bowl. He has 45,109 passing yards, 282 touchdowns and 144 interceptions on 62.6 percent completion.
Goff has passed for 18,171 yards, 107 touchdowns and 55 interceptions on 67 percent completion in his career. He helped lead the Rams to the Super Bowl following the 2018 season. He is a two-time Pro Bowler.
