Marcus Mariota Agrees to Deal With the Raiders

Marcus Mariots has agreed to a contract with the Raiders according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Mariota is the former second overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He started for the Titans for four and a half seasons, but was benched in favor of Ryan Tannehill midway through last year. In his career, Mariota has thrown for 13,207 yards, 76 touchdowns and 44 interceptions on 62.9 percent completion.

The Raiders still have Derek Carr on the roster, but feel confident that Mariota can make their quarterback room better. If he plays well enough he could earn an opportunity to start.
