The list of NFL players opting out of the 2020 season has already started to pile up as COVID-19 numbers rise in the United States. With no vaccine on the near horizon and the MLB restart already facing challenges, NFL players have started to take notice and have begun to announce they do not plan on taking part in the new season.
Here, TGH will list those players and the teams which now need to find replacements. The list will be continually updated as more and more players opt out, so be sure to check back for updates weekly before the season is set to begin on September 10.
