The Detroit Lions will sign Marcus Davenport on a one-year deal according to Mike Garafolo.
Davenport, 27, has been in the NFL for six seasons with the Saints and Vikings. He has 23.5 career sacks. Last season with the Vikings, he tallied two sacks.
The Lions will hope Davenport can provide some pressure across from Aidan Hutchinson. Davenport will be reunited with Lions head coach Dan Campbell, who was with the Saints with him.
