Free agent running back Le’Veon Bell has signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs according to multiple sources.
Bell, 28, was released by the New York Jets earlier in the week, making him a free agent. In two games this season for the Jets, Bell rushed for 74 yards. He was in the second-year with the Jets after signing a four-year, $52 million contract with the team before the 2019 season.
Kansas City adds another weapon to their offense to go with rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Both players are versatile and can be on the field on any down, which gives the Chiefs options.
