Buffalo has made a late free agency move to help solidify their pass rush. The Bills have signed outside linebacker Leonard Floyd to a one-year deal for an amount of money that remains unclear at time of writing.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
After becoming a top-10 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Floyd remained with the team that drafted him (the Chicago Bears) through the 2019 season. After completing a one-year deal with the Rams, he signed a four-year, $64 million contract with Los Angeles, but was let go in 2023.
He finished the 2022-2023 season with nine sacks, which marked his third consecutive campaign in which he collected at least that many. In his seven-year career, Floyd has racked up 47.5 sacks, 338 combined tackles and two safeties (one each in his first two years).
