The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to a two-year, $25 million deal with star linebacker Lavonte David according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The deal will technically be for five years, but will include three voidable years at the end of the contract.
David, 31, has spent his entire nine-year career with the Buccaneers after being drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He helped the team capture a Super Bowl this past season and is a one-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro.
The Buccaneers will have a great linebacker room as they try to defend their title that includes David and the blossoming Devin White.
