Lamar Miller injured his leg during the Texans’ preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday. Tests confirmed that the running back tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

Miller, 28, has rushed for 5,864 yards and 32 touchdowns in his career. He played four seasons in Miami before playing the last three with the Texans. Last season, Miller rushed for 973 yards and five touchdowns on 4.6 yards per carry.
The Texans traded for Duke Johnson from the Browns, who will now be featured, at least until they can look for someone to pair with him in the backfield.
