Long, 32, is a three-time Pro Bowler in his seven seasons with the Chicago Bears. Although his career started off successfully, with three straight Pro Bowls made, Long started to wear down with injuries. He did not play in more than 10 games from the 2016 season on. He retired following the 2019 season.
Although the Chiefs cut Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz earlier this offseason, they have added offensive linemen in guards Joe Thuney and now Long.
