The 49ers have lost linebacker Kwon Alexander for the season with a torn pectoral according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
With the MRI confirming that his pec is torn, 49ers' LB Kwon Alexander's season is over.

Alexander was in his first year with the 49ers after starting his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He suffered the injury during the team’s Thursday Night Football game against the Arizona Cardinals.
The 25-year-old linebacker 34 tackles, one interception and four passes defended this season. In his career, he has 414 total tackles, 26 passes defended and seven interceptions.
Fred Warner will likely see more snaps as the team’s best linebacker. Dre Greenlaw, Mark Nzeocha and Azeez Al-Shaair will all see increased roles with Alexander out.
