Former Cardinals and Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. The contract is worth $11 million over two years. His deal could be worth up to a reported $14.5 million with incentives.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news on Thursday afternoon via Twitter.
Drake spent a season and a half with Arizona. During his time there he scored 18 touchdowns and racked up 1,598 rushing yards. His eight touchdowns in eight games with the Cardinals in 2019 was his career high, until he bested it in 2020.
In 15 games (13 starts), Drake scored 10 touchdowns and was 45 yards short of 1,000 on the 2020 season. His arrival in Las Vegas is somewhat of a surprise, given the Raiders already have Josh Jacobs, a breakout star.
