The Washington Redskins will sign one of the top cornerbacks on the market, Kendall Fuller, to a four-year, $40 million deal according to NFL Network.
Fuller, 25, is coming off a Super Bowl win with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played the first two seasons of his career with the Redskins before being traded to the Chiefs as part of the trade that sent Alex Smith to Washington. In his career, Fuller has 26 passes defended and six interceptions.
Washington cut Josh Norman this offseason due to his poor play in 2019 and needed help at corner. With Fuller, they are getting an experienced player who can help take the defense to the next level.
