Despite his semi-disparaging comments about quarterback Kyler Murray going viral, the Arizona Cardinals have re-signed offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum. The team and Beachum have reportedly agreed to a two-year contract.
NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
Beachum began his career as a seventh round draft pick, near to the very bottom of the entire 2012 NFL Draft class. He made his way to his fourth NFL team, the Arizona Cardinals, in 2020, where he signed a one year, then a two-year contract. This will be his third contract with Arizona.
In 2022, Beachum played 98 percent of offensive snaps (1,180). He committed six total penalties last season, four of them being false starts. The last time Beachum missed more than one game was in 2019, when he missed three with the Jets.
