The Indianapolis Colts are signing six-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen to a one-year deal worth up to $8.32 million, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Allen currently has the most receptions of any active player in the NFL and will now reunite with Colts head coach Shane Steichen, as the two spent time working together with the Chargers.
Allen has been one of the most consistent receivers and incredible route runners in the league since being drafted by San Diego in 2013. Of his 13 seasons in the league, he’s spent 12 with the Chargers, both in San Diego and following their relocation to Los Angeles, and is the franchise’s all-time leader in receptions and second in receiving yards behind Antonio Gates.
In his career, Allen has amassed a total of 1,055 receptions for 12,051 yards and 70 receiving touchdowns.
Although Allen is entering the 2026 NFL season at age 34, he’s been relatively healthy in recent years, playing in all 17 games for the Chargers last year. He’ll figure to be a big weapon for quarterback Daniel Jones.
Allen’s new role on the team will help supplement the loss of receiver Michael Pittman Jr. to the Steelers, and he’ll join a receiving group that includes Alec Pierce, Josh Downs and second-year tight end Tyler Warren.
