The Kansas City Chiefs will pick up the contract option on running back Damien Williams according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Williams, 27, was an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma, but he rose to stardom this year on the Super Bowl-winning Chiefs. He spent four seasons in Miami before spending the last two with the Chiefs. In the Super Bowl, he rushed for 104 yards. This season, he rushed for 498 yards and had 231 receiving yards. In his career, he has 1,231 rushing yards and 1,106 receiving yards.
In 2020, Williams will make $2.3 million as the Chiefs try to make another run at the Super Bowl.
