
Free agent quarterback Justin Fields has agreed to a two-year, $40 million deal with the New York Jets, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. He is guaranteed $30 million.
Fields, 26, has played for the Bears and Steelers in his career. He has passed for 7,780 yards, 45 touchdowns and 31 interceptions on 61.1 percent completion. Last season for the Steelers, he passed for 1,106 yards, five touchdowns and one interception on 65.8 percent completion in 10 games played. ‘
The Jets are moving on from Aaron Rodgers and now have a new quarterback to fill his shoes if they don’t get one in the 2025 NFL Draft.
