The Week 18 game between the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars will decide who wins the AFC South. Josh Dobbs has been tapped as the starter over the rookie Malik Willis as the Titans try and stop a six-game slide.
PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Monday afternoon.
Willis has appeared in eight games this season, starting three of them. He’s 1-2 as a starter, and has completed 31 of 61 passes for 276 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions. He’s also rushed 27 times for 123 yards and a score.
Dobbs was a fourth round draft pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and has bounced around the league since. In 2022 alone, he’s been on three teams’ rosters or practice squads. He’s played and started in one game this year, throwing for 232 yards, one touchdown and one pick.
