36-year-old former All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham is returning to the place in which his NFL career began. The New Orleans Saints are signing Graham to a one-year deal, for a yet-unknown amount of money.
PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Graham was a Saint for five seasons, from 2010-2014. During that time he made one First Team All-Pro (2013) and one Second Team All-Pro (2011). He’s also made five Pro Bowls and led the league in receiving touchdowns (also in 2013).
After his first stint with New Orleans he bounced around to Seattle, Green Bay and Chicago. His contract expired with the Bears after 2021, leading him to not being rostered in 2022. During his most recent season of NFL action, Graham played in 15 games, grabbing 14 receptions for 167 yards and three touchdowns.
