The Jets are trading away pass-rusher Jacob Martin at the 2022 NFL trade deadline at 4:00pm ET. The Broncos are sending the Jets a fourth round pick and sending a fifth round pick back in the trade for Martin.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Bradley Chubb, a Broncos standout linebacker, was traded away earlier today. This makes the trade for another pass-rusher a bit odd, but this trade deadline has been full of teams trading away players and then adding some.
The Steelers traded away Chase Claypool but traded for William Jackson. Chicago traded away Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn, but grabbed Claypool. No team so far has been fully committed to a sell-off 2022 trade deadline.
