The New York Jets have made a concerted effort to improve their defense in the early stages of free agency. They have reached deals with edge players Kingsley Enagbare and Joseph Ossai, along with linebacker Demario Davis.

Enagbare, 26, had two sacks for the Pacekrs in 2025. Ossai, 25, racked up five sacks for the Bengals last season. Davis, 37, is a 14-year vet, who has played for the Jets, Browns and Saints. In his career, he has made two Pro Bowls and has registered 1,536 total tackles.
Last season, the Jets allowed 355.6 yards per game, which ranked 25th in the league. Aaron Glenn will have more firepower to utilize this season.
