The injury bug keeps biting the Cleveland Browns, as they’ve lost a huge piece of their offensive line for the rest of the year. Jedrick Wills is now out for the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury and undergoing surgery.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Wills was a former top-ten overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft out of the University of Alabama. He helped the Crimson Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2017, and was selected to the First Team All-SEC in 2019.
After being selected to the Pro Football Writers’ Association First Team All-Rookie in his first year in the NFL, earned enough good will to have his fifth-year option picked up for this season. His 2022 season was the only one in which he did not miss any time to injury.
