Jedrick Wills Day to Day With Ankle Injury

Jedrick Mills Ankle Injury

Jedrick Wills had to leave the Browns’ opening game against the Kansas City Chiefs with an ankle injury. Head coach Kevin Stefanski says Wills is day to day with the injury after x-rays were negative.

Wills, 22, was the first-round pick by the Browns in the 2020 NFL Draft and played well for the team last season. He helped the team reach the Divisional Round of the playoffs by protecting Baker Mayfield‘s blindside.

After leaving the game, Chris Hubbard filled in at left tackle. If Wills is unable to play this weekend against the Texans, Hubbard will likely get the start, while rookie James Hudson will serve in a backup role.
