The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $3.5 million with free agent running back Javonte Williams, according to Jordan Schultz.
Williams, 24, played his first four professional seasons with the Denver Broncos. He has battled injury early in his career, but has registered 2,394 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in his career. Last season, he totaled 513 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
Dallas had Rico Dowdle last season, but he is now a free agent. Williams gives them a low-cost, young option for next season.
