
Quarterback Jared Goff has inked a four-year, $212 million extension with the Detriot Lions according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The contract includes $170 million guaranteed.
Goff, 29, led the Lions to the NFC Championship Game last season. He passed for 4,575 yards, 30 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on 67.3 percent completion.
As a former No. 1 overall pick, Goff has played eight NFL seasons with the Rams and Lions. In his career, he has passed for 30,429 yards, 185 touchdowns and 82 interceptions on 64.7 percent completion.
