The Jacksonville Jaguars are releasing tight end Geoff Swaim.
The NFL’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon.
Swaim spent only one year in Jacksonville after spending the previous four seasons in Dallas. The five year veteran played in only six games in 2019. He collected 13 receptions for 65 yards and no touchdowns. This is his fourth out of five seasons where he has not scored a touchdown. He has one on his career (2018 with the Cowboys).
The market for Swaim will probably be slim if one exists at all. If another team picks him up, however, he should be inexpensive.
