The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to a two-year, $6.5 million deal with quarterback Nick Mullens, according to Mike Garafolo. In the contract, $5 million will be guaranteed.
Mullens, 29, has played seven NFL seasons, spending time with San Francisco, Cleveland and Minnesota. He has passed for 6,429 yards, 34 touchdowns and 31 interceptions on 65.8 percent completion. Last season with the Vikings, he passed for 38 yards in four games played.
Trevor Lawrence returns as the starter, but Mullens gives the Jaguars an experienced backup.
