Jacksonville Jaguars Trade Pittsburgh Steelers For Josh Dobbs

The Jacksonville Jaguars have added a quarterback for depth after the shoulder injury to Nick Foles. They have sent a fifth-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for Josh Dobbs according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Jacksonville still plans to start the rookie, Gardner Minshew, after he impressed in relief of Foles. Minshew set an NFL record for completion percentage in an NFL debut with at least 15 attempts at 88 percent. Dobbs will likely back up Minshew in the coming weeks.

The Steelers selected Dobbs in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Dobbs has just 12 NFL attempts in his career with six completions for 43 yards.
