Pederson, 54, is most famous for winning Super Bowl LII with the Philadelphia Eagles. He posted a 42-37-1 record in five seasons as the head coach in Philadelphia. He was fired following the 2020 season and did not coach during the 2021 NFL season.
During his coaching career, he has spent time as an assistant with the Eagles and Chiefs.
As a player, Pederson was a quarterback who spent time with the Dolphins, Panthers, Packers, Eagles and Browns.
Pederson will take over for Urban Meyer, who partially coached the team to a 3-14 record. He will have the first overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and plenty of cap space to work with, but will also be tasked with developing Trevor Lawrence who was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
