The Los Angeles Chargers have agreed to a deal with free-agent cornerback J.C. Jackson according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Jackson, 26, was an undrafted free agent who spent the first four years of his career with the New England Patriots. He led the league with 23 passes defended and also had eight interceptions in 2021. For his career, he has 53 passes defended and 25 interceptions.
The Chargers have made a big effort to improve their team for the 2022 season. They have traded for Khalil Mack and also re-signed wide receiver Mike Williams. In a tough AFC West, the Chargers are preparing for a gauntlet of a season.
